Not a lumberjack-sized saw. But it is relatively light-weight, and very maneuverable, so it works great for trimming branches, and for cutting up all the deadwood branches that fall from our 1 acre of mature trees. We get lots of use cutting the deadwood down to fireplace-sized pieces.

For years, I’ve only used gas chainsaws up until now. This thing rocks! Cuts fast, long battery time, and pretty sterdy. Hit a wire fence with it stopped it dead. Couple seconds later hit the power button and off it went still cut great. I would recommend this saw to any anyone that’s tired of the hassle of gas. Way above my expectations! This thing is a beast!

As a contractor for years and someone who used all kinds of power tools, I can say that this is a decent pruning/cutting tool. At times the fumes from a gas chain saw is overwhelming. I tried a couple of electric chain saws but wasn't satisfied at all, none had near enough power. This works better than expected. It's an aggressive little saw that I would highly recommend.

Lovin my wood cutter! Perfect saw for me to use to do clean-up and cutting that I cannot persuade my husband to get after with his gas saws. It is pretty light and quiet. This has been very useful around our small farm.

It's good for cutting small trees that need removed or trimming branches. It can cut down a bigger tree but it will drain the battery fast.

The good thing about the cordless saw is it runs with a battery so no need for gas or gas/oil mixes. It's not as loud as a gas powered saw either. I used it all over my property today, drained the battery once and charged it for another round. Doesn't take long to charge either, only a couple of hours. I have other equipment that takes 5-8 hours to charge so the shorter charge time is great.

I don't think it wise to compare these directly to similar gas powered products. You won't get the same raw power or running time - no question. This saw is lightweight, easy to use and cuts very well for small jobs. It's a 12" saw so best for limbing or cutting small trees. Current gas formulations make starting small engines a nightmare, especially if they sit too long but an electric is sure to start whenever needed as long as the battery is charged.

One sweet machine. This is not what you want to cut down redwoods, but the bushes and small trees in your yard are no sweat. I trimmed my Butterfly Tree with it's 8" limbs. Like a hot knife thru butter.

Well I used it for about 1 hour before the battery was spent. I use it to trim trees and brush on our property and compared to using a gas chainsaw its so much more pleasant without the noise and the starter pull. I definitely have more energy afterwards.I highly recommend it.

Was hesitant because I have had electric saws that were useless. But I thought, after weeks of thinking about it and really tired of rebuilding the gas powered chainsaw, I'll give it a try. This thing is a beast. I have cut four trees down with it (two medium and two smaller trees). It does go through batteries fairly quickly but I have batteries from my other tools which fit so I swap them out and keep going. no regrets with this purchase.

I am a woman retired from working a desk job for the last 50 years so my grounds keeping skills are non existent. But this saw makes me look like an expert.

"Small branches" is the key phrase here. This is for pruning and clean up of fallen branches. As far as cutting up the body of tree, it bogs down and stops. I cant complain about that since we know this is a small/supplementary chain saw. So this is a clean-up saw and not a tree cutting saw. And it works great at that.

Don't know about you but I have several gas powered chain saws which I don't need to use very often. So after they sit for a few months none of them seem to want to start. This saw is for small jobs. So if I need to deal with a downed branch, I go to this. No fuel or starting issues.

This is sweet! I wanted a chainsaw that doesn’t require all that pulling to get started and no mixing fuel. This is it. Used it on a tree 5” in diameter and it performed excellently. Didn’t get it to go pogging, just for cleanup after storms and to dress up tree bottoms. Nice tool!

I ordered this chain saw so I could use it and not use my husbands. It is light weight easy to assemble and easy to use. I prune 2 fairly decent sized trees with it. It is perfect for what I want.

Nice 'second' chain saw for lighter duty. It will cut the big stuff, but battery life under that load is really short.

So far this has been a good purchase. I use it to cut small limbs for the fire pit. The battery lasts long. It is light weight so easy for a female to use.
