In essence, the mini shaver is simply awesome. I just turned 65 and for the past year had come accustomed to plucking my chin hairs. I would note that the hairs had become wiery and coarse. My daughter and I talked to family members and friends who shared they have bought this and works. We were skeptical. We bought it anyway. We love these and they work!!!! Instructions says go circular motions— we have found moving from the temple towards center of the face seems to work more successfully for us.

I was pleasantly surprised. It does what it says it will do, the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because you do have to go over an area a few times to remove the hair if it isn’t long enough. This will definitely save you money on eyebrow waxes or threading. I recommend letting the hair grow in a bit for easier removal and so you don’t get ingrown hairs. I’m happy with this purchase!

I will say that this does do what I wanted it to do. However, my expectations were not that it would replace tweezers entirely. I use it in addition to tweezers. I still use tweezers to pluck the really dark, coarse, thick eyebrow hairs, though in most cases this device did remove those as well, and sometimes even down to the root. But those that it didn't get, I just plucked. What I really wanted this baby to do was remove some of those lighter, soft, fine hairs that grow below my brow and above the lid that are like baby fuzz. Those mess with the look of my makeup and I wanted them gone! They are difficult to pluck effectively, because there are so many, but a couple of passes with this device and they were gone! Leaving a nice, smooth, hair free area for my primer and shadow.

When I turned 43, my 20/20 vision became vision hell due to aging. It is super hard to pluck wearing readers. Now with COVID I haven’t been in to the esthetician. The images of my eyebrows were in less than a minute after opening the package. It took longer to read the directions than to get the sculpted brow image. I was scared I would mess it up but Nope!!
